Ashley TV!

During our trip to Las Vegas, I promised Ashley (Housha and Michelle’s daughter) that she would become a “YouTube” movie star! Since a promise is a promise, here it is. We hope you enjoy her little show! By the way, she is accepting donations for the following:

  • Acting school
  • A cell phone (but dont tell her mom this one!)
  • A new iPod
  • Games for her Wii (still not quite sure why its named ‘we’)
  • …and just about any type of electronic gadget :)
  • BTW, Ashley, sorry it has taken me so long to get this on our BLOG…if you read thru our entries you will see that your Auntie Nousha and I lead very active lives :)

    News from Vegas!

Hertz Shelby Mustang that Reza Rented from Los Angeles to Las VegasWe both arrived today around 2:30pm amidst one of the worst weather days of the year, that is for Las Vegas! And to think we left the wonderful Bay Area weather to go to 46 degrees and raining. (degrees in fahrenheit, not celsius) Reza and Nousha drove the rented Ford Shelby Mustang from Los Angeles while I flew in from Oakland after I worked a late night so I wouldnt feel guilty for taking Friday off. I would have liked the journey by car considering they had Tommy with them…but having all that horsepower in the rain was a little too tempting. And yes, I would have felt too guilty to take off with the projects I have on my plate. Oh, you may be wondering who Tommy is? He (as Nousha named him) is the new TomTom 920T GPS navigation system that I purchased the other day. Im tired of getting lost on our travels…and believe me GPS’s are relationship savers!!! We realized this during our trip to Spain! Although we also discovered in Spain that the faster the GPS calculates the direction after you make the wrong turn, the less chance you have for a ‘discussion’ about which way to go from there! I can honestly say that in the limited time that I have used it (albeit Nousha can be the better judge of this), the new TomTom does an excellent job of helping us find our way. If you have ever thought about getting one, I would HIGHLY recommend it! …back to Vegas! Rich (of the Rich and Hillary gang) called and said he was alone at the Excaliber waiting for his other friends to arrive. Their plane was delayed out of Oakland. It appears I caught the last flight in town before they decided to shut them down due to rain! Im sure glad I didnt get stuck at the airport. If Rich’s friends will allow Nousha on a visit to their “all guys weekend”, we may hook up with him and his entourage tomorrow. Untill then, its time to call it a day… Oh, did I drive the Mustang? Of course I did (thanks Reza)! WORD OF CAUTION: If you are ever thinking about getting one, my suggestion is that you NOT drive it in the rain! With all that power, its all over the road…literally!
